LMHB trains IT managers

Legal updates on information communication technology (ICT) topics published in a handbook by the leading Estonian business newspaper publisher Äripäev are now contributed by our senior associate Ave Piik,  a member of our IP and technology practice.

The IT Management handbook provides practical advice for planning, developing, and implementing technology systems and explains key aspects on running a business and operating under competition conditions, all of which managers of IT companies should consider. Disputes arising from infringement or improper licence agreements are very often a cause of unexpected costs, so that IT managers require professional support in training.

Ave Piik advises on technology- and IT-related assignments. She also offers extensive experience in M&A, especially on transactions by technology and media companies. Ave has taken part in various ConnectEstonia and ITEchLaw conferences and seminars speaking on corporate, M&A, and IPR topics. In addition to her ITech membership, she is also a member of the Corporate Acquisitions and Joint Ventures as well as the Technology, Media, and Intellectual Property Committees of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA).
