LMHB in long-term cooperation with Tartu University Foundation

Telders foundation which was established by signing the co-operation agreement between partner Margus Mugu, the dean of Faculty of Law in Tartu University prof Kalle Merusk and Ruth Kotsar, the Member of Management Board of Tartu University Foundation gave also this spring scholarship to law students of Tartu University in order to support their participation in Telders International Law Moot Court Competition.

Equally important is to mention that during the competition, which was held on April 16-18 in the Hague Peace Palace, the Estonian team won the 3rd position which is the highest award achieved by the Estonian team so far. 25 teams from 24 European countries took part in this year’s competition.

Telders International Law Moot Court competition is a prestigious event where each spring law student teams of four people are  presented with a case involving a fictitious dispute. The teams are judged by leading law experts including professional judges, prominent scholars and practicing lawyers. Our office’s associate Maria Peterson achieved as Tartu University team member fourth place in the Telders International Law Moot Court Competition of 2005.
